Volunteer for us
We’re so grateful to everyone who dedicates their time to help us prevent cancer.

If you’re enthusiastic and have spare time on your hands, we’d love you to support World Cancer Research Fund by becoming a volunteer.
What do our volunteers do?

- Join our “cheer points” for the London Marathon and other events
Help in our London office
- Fill envelopes with Christmas cards, health resources or other items
- Writing birthday, thank-you and Christmas cards to our volunteers
- Be a real-life model for our health information resources
Share your story
- Share how you’re helping to prevent cancer, or living with a cancer diagnosis so we can use your words to help others.

Go the extra mile as a Fundraising Ambassador
As well as regular volunteers, some people go the extra mile for cancer prevention. Our Fundraising Ambassadors:
- Share health information (such as posters and booklets) in the local community.
- Give talks to schools, churches or local groups about our work.
- Act as digital ambassadors by following, liking and sharing us on social media.
What do we offer in return
- Our volunteers and Fundraising Ambassadors do a vital role for us and we want to show our thanks with:
- Ongoing support from our Fundraising team
- Updates on how you’re making a difference
- Opportunities to meet other volunteers, researchers and experts at World Cancer Research Fund
Our promise: we’ll only ask you to volunteer in ways that work for you and we’ll ALWAYS respect your time and privacy.
